2009 Clay Center Piotique Parade Grand Marshalls John & Irene Jensen were driven by their son in a convertible provided by the Green Team.
The 2009 Parade theme was "Past-Present-Future." What better way to represent this than with vehicles... The Green Team parade vehicles included a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Jerry Clark, a 2009 Corvette driven by Scott Najarian, the GreenTeamCars HHR Panel driven by Jamie Lorenson, a 2009 Dodge Ram Laramie driven by Jeannine Anderson, a 2009 Buick Lucerne driven by Bill Rice, and the 1947 Green Team Chevy truck driven by Justin Lorenson.
We estimate the crowds watching the parade to be around 1.8 Million---rough estimate.
Our 62 year old 1947 Chevrolet Truck was made for parading. Before it was traded to the Green Team it was part of the Graves Museum of Trucking in Salina, KS.
Our 2009 Chevy Silverado was a clear choice for a running (or walking) mate for Rob Wasinger who is campaigning for the Kansas 1st District seat in the U.S. Congress.
